Greetings Boise area artists.
This is one of those impersonal spam emails that you may want to actually read.
First off, thanks to everyone that has responded to Radio Boise so far. As you may or may not know, after 8 long years of putting this project together, we are finally going ON AIR.
As of April 11th, we will be broadcasting on KRBX 89.9 fm.
The new studio is almost done. We paid particular attention to the performance space. What sets our station aside from most is the ability for local and touring bands / artists to perform live at the station, in a space that was designed specifically for this purpose. This is something that we are extremely excited about.
Here is where you come in. We are still in fundraising mode. The studio is about 75% budgeted for, and we are trying to raise another $8500 to complete it. WE ARE SO CLOSE.
Please follow the link below to go to our studio fundraising Kickstarter site. If you have never been there, I recommend you check it out. Not just for us, but for you as well. It is an amazing site that raises funds for creative projects. Very helpful for bands / artists trying to raise money from anything from making a record to buying a van to tour in.
The deal is, if we don’t reach the goal by April 18th, we DO NOT receive any of it. As of writing this email, we are about $2500 shy of our goal. Very doable, with your help of course.

Donate (even if it’s a buck), and please copy this link on your facebooks, myspaces, bandcamps, emails, etc.
Ok, now for the fun stuff – in addition to your funding pledges, We also need music. We need YOUR music. We actually have a music library room. Now we need to fill it. What a better way to fill a community radio station’s library, than with the local community music.
Once you take time to pledge, email me back at this addy (firstname.lastname@example.org), and I will coordinate you getting us the music. We can take CD’s, digital files, vinyl, pretty much anything.
Thanks for your continued support. We look forward to hearing back from you, and cant wait to hear you on the radio.
